Re-located closet to where current pantry was. Moved main entry door to accommodate better flow of plan and added a small window for additional light. Incorporated a larger kitchen window above the sink area to allow more natural light and air flow. Created custom stone hearth surround around stove with custom cherry mantle. Used new cherry cabinetry topped with quartz countertops and replaced dark terracotta tiled floors with Amendoim exotic hard wood. Added ceramic tiled backsplash with copper accents. Built a custom cherry butcher block countertop for island, which sits on creamy white bead board cabinetry, offering a nice contrast to the cherry cabinetry and introducing the cottage flair.
